APIAHF recently released a new research brief that provides an overview of the demographic characteristics, socioeconomic status, and health care coverage of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders living in the United States. The brief includes established social determinants of health, such as education, income, nativity and citizenship, language use and proficiency, and health insurance coverage. The brief uses the most recent national data available as of June 2011, the 2010 decennial Census and the 2007-2009 American Community Survey (ACS).
The brief is available for download here: http://www.apiahf.org/resources/resources-database/profilesofaanhpi
