Take Action & Show Your Support for Revenues!

Now that the Governor’s revised budget has been released, it’s up to us to make sure our legislators understand what’s at stake: without these necessary revenues, California seniors, people with disabilities, low-income families and children will be forced (once again) to suffer even more devastating cuts.

Please submit a letter to the editor of your local daily newspaper urging legislators to support Governor Brown’s revised budget package – including proposals to extend existing revenue streams in order to prevent additional cuts to health and human services! Customizable LTE templates, available for download below, are available to help you get started! Download the May Revise LTE sample templates.

The HHS Network has also prepared key messages and talking points in response to the Governor’s May Revise budget – available for download here:

Phone bank for a fair budget with revenues! Our allies at SEIU are organizing phone banks all across the state to help get the word out that passing these modest revenue extensions are absolutely critical for California’s future!
