INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE
CONGRESSWOMAN JUDY CHU’S 2011 FEDERAL GRANTS & RESOURCE WORKSHOP
Congresswoman Judy Chu is hosting her 2nd Annual Federal Grants & Resource Workshop. The purpose of the workshop is to help local non-profits, community based organizations, cities, school districts, and community college districts navigate through the Federal Government Grants Process, so that your entities can better serve our communities. The workshop will feature speakers from various federal agencies, including U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Human & Health Services (HHS), U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), as well as a professional Grant Writer/Development Officer who will offer tips on how to best search for private foundation grants and how to write that winning proposal!
Eligible Participants: Seating is limited. Priority will be given to individuals and/or representatives from local Non-Profits, Community Based Organizations, City Administrations, School District Administrations, and Community College District Administration. THERE IS NO COST TO ATTEND.
