What Folks Don’t Know About Preventive Care

There wasn’t much in the federal health care reform act that changed how health insurance works for most folks who already have it – that is, for people who are covered under group policies offered through their employers. But there was this: Effective last September, all insurance plans must fully cover preventive services – immunizations, routine cancer screenings and the like – without requiring co-pays or that individuals first meet the deductible requirements of their policies.
