President’s Budget Proposal Would Position AAPIs and all Americans to Win the Future by Out-Educating, Out-Innovating and Out-Building Rest of World

WASHINGTON – Assistant to the President and Cabinet Secretary Chris Lu, White House National Economic Council senior advisor Ginger Lew and White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders director Kiran Ahuja will hold a conference call with reporters on Wednesday to discuss key priorities in President Obama‘s 2012 federal budget and how they would affect AAPI communities.

 

Having emerged from the worst recession in generations, President Obama proposed a budget to Congress that would put the nation on a path to live within our means so we can invest in our future by out-innovating, out-educating and out-building our global competitors and create the jobs and industries of tomorrow.
