The Health Justice Network and The California Endowment invite you to attend The Center for Healthy Communities’ Health Exchange Academy, a series of trainings designed to improve the effectiveness of health-related nonprofit organizations throughout California. Attendees may participate in any training regardless of past experience.

Module 3, Using the Administrative Petition as a Tool for Change

• Learn about the administrative petition as a tool for affecting health policy

• Understand how to identify problems that may be remedied through an
administrative petition

• Complete one or more rough drafts of administrative petitions that can be the
basis of a plan to improve health policy in your community
