What is Get Active, Get Healthy LA!?
On February 24, 2010, more than 100 partners from multiple sectors (business, academic, non-profit, etc) convened to develop a plan to increase countywide physical activity levels.  The group set a goal to improve physical activity levels in Los Angeles County by 5% by 2012 and by 10% by 2013.  Partners who attended chose among 9 strategies developed at the meeting, and created an action for their organization to reach the goal.  For more details about the February 24th Summit, please go to the following link: http://publichealth.lacounty.gov/nut/Network/gaghla-overview1.htm
