Module 1, Understanding How to Impact Health Policy
highlights the essentials of advocacy for individuals and organizations that are new to the field. Content includes a discussion of advocacy definitions, how advocacy relates to grantee’s work, how to be an effective advocate along with other core advocacy principles.
Module 2, Persuading Decision Makers to Act for Better Health is an intermediate level advocacy course that helps participants prepare arguments and effective supporting materials to present to and discuss with a decision maker. This course is intended for those familiar with advocacy on a basic level.
