Due to overwhelming response, the Department of Mental Health has scheduled three additional trainings to learn how to become a contractor for MHSA programs. If you’re unable to attend the dates below, there will be two more trainings next month, details TBD. We encourage as many of you to attend and learn what it takes to become contracted with DMH, since this opportunity may not come up again for years! See below for more details.
Please note that you have to RSVP by pre-registration via email or fax – the form and flier are attached along with contact information. The deadline to register is by Tuesday, November 24.
This training is intended for community organizations interested in becoming a Department of Mental Health contract agency under the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA). It focuses on the first step an organization must take to become a PEI contractor: responding to the Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ). This training is intended for NEW providers, specifically agencies that do not currently have a county contract and are unfamiliar with the contracting process. Agencies from non-mental health sectors, including education, health, social services, law enforcement, community family resource centers, and agencies serving underserved communities are encouraged to attend.
Please register by Tuesday November 24th. The registration form is attached.
